The meeting between two manufacturers
During a workshop tour, Christine and Nicolas Bard introduced us to their network of Make ICI Collaborative and Solidarity Manufactures. In a straightforward and genuine manner, they spoke to us about their passion for the artisans, designers, architects, and entrepreneurs of the FAIRE movement.
Admiring this visionary project, we did not hesitate to make a garment in their image when they offered us to dress the teams of Make ICI manufactures . This is an opportunity for us to participate in this ecosystem which sustainably promotes local activity.

Unique places steeped in history
Today, Make ICI operates in various regions of the country with four manufacturing facilities: Montreuil, Marseille, Nantes, and Wasquehal. Once abandoned, each of these locations holds an industrial history. The establishment of Make ICI allows these sites to be revived by putting production back in the heart of cities.
The factories create a real ecosystem within the neighborhoods, in order to encourage local exchanges.

A true defender of French know-how
Accessibility, mutual assistance, and solidarity are the words that drive the factories. With Make ICI, entrepreneurs in the “Faire” sector can launch and develop their economic activity within shared workshops. Professional and digital manufacturing machinery, storage spaces, and assembly rooms are shared.
Carpenters, cabinetmakers, designers, jewelers—these artisans and creators are brought together in a single location. Their presence in this same space facilitates their exchanges and contributes to the creation of their own network. This allows them to collaborate more easily and advance projects that require multiple disciplines.

Transmission at the heart of the project
The Make ICI team goes beyond defending French expertise. With a view to ensuring its continued existence, manufacturers offer training courses led by professionals and funded by the government. This exchange of skills is thus multifaceted.
School dropout, career change or simply discovery; the workshops are open to anyone who wishes to learn.

Kidur x Make HERE
The defense of French know-how also resonates with Kidur.
In this regard, Christine and Nicolas trusted us to dress their teams. They opted for the Jacket 41 Navy recycled cotton and the Hector recycled cotton t-shirt.
All pieces were personalized with a Make ICI badge. Embroidered at one of our partners in the Gard region, it was then sewn at La Manufacture.
