To make your clothes last longer, the care you take in their maintenance is essential, for this, we give you some advice for yourALFIE.

The material of your jacket is raw, meaning it has not been washed or treated after weaving and making. The indigo that gives it its typical color may leave blue marks during the first weeks of use. The raw fabric that makes up your pants is rough, meaning it still contains the treatment that allows its tight and dense weave, which gives it a “cardboard” feel. These characteristics fade over time and disappear after the first wash.

FIRST WASH
The first wash is important in the life of your jacket and we advise you to follow a few instructions. This first wash will remove excess indigo by bleeding and remove the finish from your jacket by softening and lightening the material. This step will also give the cut and final dimensions to your jeans. Upon purchase or after some time of use, the first wash should be done inside out, in the machine with a short cycle at 30°C maximum. Adding a glass of vinegar to the drum will help fix the indigo. Ideally, the drum should not only contain the jacket; the presence of other clothes that do not fear the blue of the indigo will prevent your pants from being balled up and showing mottling. Spin at 800 rpm maximum and air dry without creasing (on a hanger or flat).

DAILY LIFE
Machine washing our clothes accelerates their wear and tear. On a daily basis, spaced cycles at 30°C with a little detergent, a reduced spin speed of 800 rpm, and air drying are preferable to ensure greater longevity.
