The meeting of two manufacturers
During a tour of the workshop, Christine and Nicolas BARD introduced us to their network of Manufactures Collaboratives et Solidaires Make ICI. Straightforward and genuine, they told us about their passion for artisans, designers, architects and FAIRE entrepreneurs.
Admiring this visionary project, we didn't hesitate to make a garment in their image when they asked us to dress the teams at the Make ICI factories. It's an opportunity for us to participate in an ecosystem that promotes sustainable local activity.
Unique places steeped in history
Today, Make ICI is present in various regions of France, with 4 factories: Montreuil, Marseille, Nantes and Wasquehal. Once derelict, each of these sites is steeped in industrial history. The establishment of Make ICI brings these sites back to life, bringing production back to the heart of the city.
The factories create a veritable ecosystem in the heart of neighborhoods, encouraging local exchanges.
A true defender of French know-how
Accessibility, mutual aid and solidarity are the words that animate the fabriques. With Make ICI, do-it-yourself entrepreneurs can launch and develop their business in shared workshops. Professional and digital manufacturing machinery, storage space and assembly rooms are shared.
Woodworkers, cabinet-makers, designers, jewelers: these craftsmen and creators are brought together in a single location. Their presence in the same space facilitates their exchanges and contributes to the creation of their own network. This makes it easier for them to collaborate and move forward on projects that require several disciplines.
Transmission at the heart of the project
The Make ICI team goes beyond defending French know-how. With a view to ensuring their continuity, the factories offer training courses led by professionals and funded by the French government. The exchange of skills is thus manifold.
Whether you're dropping out of school, looking for a new career path or just discovering new things, these workshops are open to anyone who wants to learn.

Kidur x Make ICI
Defending French know-how also resonates with Kidur.
In this respect, Christine and Nicolas trusted us to dress their teams. They opted for the 41 Marine recycled cotton jacket and the Hector recycled cotton tee-shirt.
All pieces have been personalized with a Make ICI crest. Embroidered by one of our partners in the Gard region, it was then sewn at La Manufacture.
