Following the construction of the first American railway lines, the railroad profession expanded in the early 20th century. It was then that this type of jacket appeared, worn by locomotive drivers.

Fabric :robust 390g/m² Moleskine, made from organic cotton yarn.
What is Moleskine?

Origin : Woven in the Vosges by our partner TELATEX.

Atouts : La Train Safre a été conçu pour être un vêtement qui dure. L’assemblage du vêtement favorise l’emploi de la double aiguille en double entrainement pour assurer la meilleure des solidités.

The selected yarn is cotton and of a higher gauge than standard. Stop stitches on tension zones and buttonholes with dense eyelets complete the garment's resistance.

Pour la veste train Safre, nous avons sélectionné une moleskine non grattée. Son tissage en armure satin, extrêmement serrée, lui confère un touché doux, épais, et particulièrement robuste.

Maintenance

    • La Train Safre se patine avec le temps, et s’embellit au gré de son utilisation.
    • Before the first wash, soak the jacket for 1 hour in cold water with a glass of white vinegar. This will fix the color.
    • Machine wash at 30°C maximum.
    • The spin cycle in the washing machine should not exceed 600 rpm to avoid white marks on the color.
    • Ideally, air-dry your jacket immediately after washing. Do not tumble dry.
    • Iron at medium temperature (150°C), always with steam to moisten the fiber.
    • Vous pouvez limiter les lavages en l’aérant sur un cintre en extérieur, la Train Safre n’est pas une pièce qui se porte à même la peau. La matière tiendra mieux dans le temps en espaçant les lavages.

  • Rounded, double-needle plated pockets, reinforced at the opening with bias stitches.

Metropolitan France and overseas territories: Free delivery on orders over €150. Otherwise, you'll be asked to pay €5. You can also pick up your order directly at the factory and discover our workshop.
Europe: Free delivery on orders over €175. Otherwise, you will be asked to pay 15€.
Other countries: Free delivery on orders over 200€. Otherwise, you will be asked to pay €25. 

Return shipping costs
