Maison Broussaud knits for Kidur. French manufacturers since the 1930s, Maison Broussaud and clothing manufacturer Kidur have teamed up to knit a timeless, comfortable and hard-wearing sock.
Discover Charbon socks knitted in France from Maison Broussaud knitwear scraps. A collaboration based on French know-how.
Maison Broussaud is the story of three generations of knitting enthusiasts who have passed on their knitting know-how to each other in the Limousin region. The adventure began in 1938. Adrienne and Henry Broussaud had just married in their village, Les Cars. They embarked on a sock-making venture, setting up a factory that would employ over 200 people. In 1984, their children Brigitte and Gérard took over the business. The face of the factory changed, with the advent of electronic machines to speed up production. The arrival of new technologies further transformed the business, which has been run by Aymeric and Alexandra Broussaud since 2006...
Maison Broussaud has been designing, knitting and manufacturing socks on the same site since 1938, in the purest tradition of French hosiery. Quality is the company's trademark, and its expertise is recognized by the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (EPV) and Origine France Garantie (OFG) labels.
Charbon socks are made of 44% recycled cotton and 31% recycled polyester from Maison Broussaud sock scraps.
To ensure that your Kidur X Maison Broussaud socks last as long as possible, we recommend washing them inside out, at 30 degrees maximum. Do not tumble dry to avoid shrinkage.
