Inspired by the American chore jackets of the 50s, the Absinthe jacket combines a dynamic, streamlined cut with the practicality of 4 pockets. Our jacket is assembled with sturdy seams and made from quality materials.

Like the rest of the Kidur collection, the Absinthe Jacket is made at the historic Plainelière de Courlay factory, and is certified Origine France Garantie.

SIZING GUIDE

Manufacturing

Fabric 100% organic cotton twill 325 gr/m².

Origin : Woven in France by our partner LTC (Les Tissages de Charlieu, 42), then dyed in Caudry 59.

Les Tissages de Charlieu has been perpetuating French Jacquard weaving know-how for 120 years. Based in the Loire region, the company is committed to developing a French textile industry that is accessible and eco-responsible.

Advantages : Our Absinthe Jacket is made entirely in France. We chose this twill for its quality and robustness.

Absinthe Jacket

Details

  • Stitched open collar
  • Closure with five curved brass buttons, eyelet buttonhole with locking stitch reinforcement
  • Rounded, double-needle plated pockets, reinforced at the opening with angled locking stitches
  • Handle tip
  • Sleeve cuffs with slit reinforced by a lock stitch, adjustable button placket and bias buttonhole 
  • Traditional double needle and chain stitch with 100% cotton thread
Delivery and returns

Maintenance

  • The Absinthe Jacket develops a patina over time, becoming more attractive with use.
  • Machine wash at 30°C maximum.
  • Before the first wash, soak the jacket for 1 hour in cold water with a glass of white vinegar. This will fix the color.
  • The spin cycle in the washing machine should not exceed 600 rpm to avoid white marks on the color.
  • Ideally, air-dry your jacket immediately after washing. Do not tumble dry.
  • Iron at medium temperature (150°C), always with steam to moisten the fiber.
  • You can limit the number of washes by airing it out on an outdoor hanger, as the Blouson Absinthe is not a piece that should be worn next to the skin. The fabric will hold up better over time if you space out the washings.

For orders of Kidur products in stock. The delivery time is 2 to 3 working days in metropolitan France after the day the products are dispatched by our services.

Metropolitan France and overseas territories: Free delivery on orders over €150. Otherwise, you'll be asked to pay €5. You can also pick up your order directly at the factory and discover our workshop.
Europe: Free delivery on orders over €175. Otherwise, you will be asked to pay 15€.
Other countries: Free delivery on orders over 200€. Otherwise, you will be asked to pay €25. 

Return shipping costs
