Nestled in the heart of the Deux-Sévrienne countryside, the Kidur clothing factory has been developing and designing hard-wearing that stand the test of time.

In 2018, a team of die-hards decided to relaunch the machine. Kidur conceives and develops a collection inspired by its archives, vintage models, stories and memories of former seamstresses. These garments, all made in measured production on the historic La Plainelière de Courlay site, offer a reasonable alternative to the consumption of disposable clothing. The materials used are mostly woven or knitted in France from recycled or organic fibers.

The 41 Loutre jacket from Manufacture Kidur is the winner of the Grande Exposition du Fabriqué en France. It will represent the Deux Sèvres department at the Palais de l'Elysée on July 1 and 2, 2023...

Le Rendez-Vous du Fabriqué en France.

The "Grande Exposition du Fabriqué en France" showcases companies, craftsmen, producers and manufacturers who are fully committed to French manufacturing. The Palais de l'Élysée will be showcasing 125 products made in France, from every department and territory in mainland France and overseas. The wide variety of products on display illustrates the wealth of French know-how. Whether everyday objects, local specialties, industrial tools or emblematic innovations, they all come from companies of all sizes and in all sectors of activity.

Promoting local know-how

For this event, sponsored by French President Emmanuel Macron, 125 companies from all over France will be presenting their French-made products to the general public and the press. This year, particular emphasis has been placed on environmentally-friendly, socially-aware production processes that help maintain regional know-how and contribute to local economic development. Each visitor will find one or two products representing his or her own region.

Kidur will represent the Deux Sèvres department and the Nouvelle Aquitaine region in this exceptional showcase of Made in France.
